S.J.Res.32 CRA: CFPB Small-Business Lending Data Rule

118th Congress
Money in Politics & FinanceCampaign finance, lobbying, corporate influence over lawmaking, and how Congress regulates banks, Wall Street, crypto, and consumer financial protections.
View on Congress.gov

Would have repealed a CFPB rule requiring lenders to report data on small-business loan applications, including the race, sex, and ethnicity of business owners, which federal law uses to enforce fair lending and identify the credit needs of women- and minority-owned businesses. President Biden vetoed the resolution, the Senate failed to override the veto, and the rule was not repealed.
